All the rooms are en-suite and are furnished in a comfortable traditional style.

All rooms with:

Ironing facilities are also provided.

All rooms are non-smoking.

Dining room Breakfast and afternoon teas are served in our traditionally decorated Dining room.

We cater for most tastes i.e. the most unusual request for breakfast was a green chilli omelette. We serve all the usual breakfast fare, local sausages, bacon, free range eggs, Stornaway Black puddings etc, Kinlochbervie Kippers undyed and naturally smoked, a fresh fruit platter of available ripe fresh fruits i.e. strawberries, kiwi, melon, grapes etc. or the house vegetarian special, potato scones tomato and cheese all lightly grilled.

For Afternoon tea try the home made scones with cream and strawberry conserve or locally made shortbread.

One of the most interesting guests to stay at Cavell House was Jim Lovell and his lovely wife. The well known astronaut from the ill fated Apollo 13. What a gentleman.
